Bonus Issue: 'Cuz I Found a Few Things You Might Vibe With
Shoes on sale, bold bling, and a new way to get outfit opinions. Thought of you.
Hey. I have some things I want to share with you, and this first couldn’t wait until the regular Tuesday issue.
Your feet might love these. But, for real, hurry.
Munro Shoes is going out of business—they’re closing shop on Sunday, April 13. This is a family-owned business based in Arkansas, and they’re known for making high-quality, stylish shoes in five different widths, from SS to WW.
I have wide feet. Obesity can cause multiple foot problems, including fallen arches, flat feet, splayed feet, and more. Even after significant weight loss, weight-related changes to the foot’s structure are often permanent.
Munro’s shoes were some of the few I’d found that were supportive, comfortable, and chic. I know many of my readers need good shoes in wider sizes, too, so I had to drop you a note to let you know about this opportunity.
Everything’s on sale—some shoes are 80% off. Here’s a peek at some of their styles. I won’t list size ranges as usual because things are going out of stock fast.

One of my goals this year is to accessorize more. I’ll save more for a future post, but when you’ve been plus size and bracelets don’t fit, chokers actually choke…

Fellow Substack publisher
just announced the MVP of a new fashion app, Cloud Closet, and this quote from the announcement describes it better than I can:If you’ve ever:
Wondered what everyone’s bringing to [insert group trip location]
Texted friends, “Which shoes with this dress?” or snapped pics from dressing rooms asking for help
Scrolled endlessly searching for dupes, less expensive options or tops to go with that skirt
Bought the same type of black pants over and over again because you’re not clear on what you have
Cloud Closet is for you. We’re building the tool you’ve been hacking together with Notes apps, wish lists, and screenshots for years.
Sharing this with you may get me early access. And I’m curious to check it out. I see potential value for people who are or have been in larger bodies, because you can’t always trust everyone for style opinions. It can be bold to build a personal network of supportive friends around fashion and style. We all need an inner circle of people who love us, will be tactfully honest, and uplift and celebrate us.
I hope this bonus issue offered something useful, even if it was a moment of escape. I’ll be in your inbox as usual Tuesday. Have a good weekend!
